Contribute to the INREV IQ Blog

The INREV IQ blog features informed, practical perspectives on topics shaping European non-listed real estate.

Editorial focus and style

INREV IQ articles are topic-led and insight-driven. When preparing your contribution, please keep in mind:

  • Articles should explore the issue, trend or opportunity in depth
  • Content should be informative, balanced and accessible to a broad professional audience
  • References to your organisation should be limited and contextual
  • Where possible, please use/reference INREV data in the article

Examples of the type of articles we publish include:

  • Industry tools and methodologies explained through practical application

  • Reflections on current market trends, such as housing or climate risk

  • Market developments with clear implications for investors and managers

What you can submit

Option 1: A completed article (preferred)

Members are encouraged to submit a finished article (up to 800 words) written by themselves or their colleagues. Articles received in this format will:

  • Go through a quicker review and editing process

  • Be prioritised due to limited editorial budget

  • Require fewer rounds of follow-up

This option will be labelled as a “Member Contributed” article on the IQ blog.

Option 2: A topic proposal with interview support

If you are unable to draft an article, you may submit a topic proposal instead. If accepted, the INREV team will:

  • Arrange an interview with you or a nominated spokesperson

  • Draft the article on your behalf based on the discussion

  • Share the draft for review and approval

Please note that due to limited resources, not all topic proposals will be accepted, and the lead time for publication will be longer than for member-written articles.

Reviewing and publishing process

The editorial team will review your submission and confirm next steps within 3-5 business days.

You will receive an email informing you if your article is accepted. Articles may not be accepted due to similar existing blogs, overly promotional content, or the topic not fitting the IQ blog’s focus.

All submissions are reviewed by the INREV MarComms team to ensure alignment with our editorial guidelines and are relevant to our audience. This may include editing for structure, tone or length.

Final decisions on publication timing, headlines and placement rest with INREV.
